As in the previous editions, the aims of this book is firstly to explain the main concepts of law in the context of the political science that shapes the syllabus of the faculties of political sciences and secondly to draw attention to the main arguments influence law and politics at the same time. In the third edition, I have expanded several paragraphs and chapters to provide for even more detail. In addition, I have updated the legislation and discussion wherever necessary.
In accordance with the recommendation of the students and to the benefit of both students and lecturers, I have increased the number of self-test questions at the end of each chapter from five to ten in order to facilitate and encourage self-testing and provide suggestions for possible exam question formats.
